Here are ideas for what I will include here later and how you can contribute.
This is kind of a small exchange program:
A chance to enter a pool of information about things unknown to you, by sharing some of what you know.
How can you contribute to this blog?
Let's say you live in Berlin - you could write about the music scene there, or some special events, or how you can get to learn German for free, or post a picture of the coolest graffiti there.
Let's say you are a writer and you just wrote a novel. I could interview you about it and post it here. It might inspire other begninng writers, or get other readers to read/recommend your new novel. Some people may want to ask you questions about it.
Let's say you just found the best job in graphic design on the planet and can't wait to share it with someone. Just post your story here and we may learn a thing or too on what's out there in the job market and ways to go about finding it.
Let's say you just took some really beautiful pictures and want to share it with a group of people you don't know who may appreciate and comment on them. Just bring it on.
How can I contribute to you?
First, by connecting diverse people with clusters of similar interests. You could find more info about what you'd want to deepen your expertise, as well as peek into things you might not imagine existed.
Second, I can contribute by having the time to write in this busy city which is full of cultural events. As an NYU student, before I graduate, I can access all kinds of events and report about them. Things that you won't read in the newspaper or anywhere online, but might be of interest to you - personally or professionally.
Third, as a MA student of cultural studies (Arts, Humanities, Social Science) I will try to offer perspectives enriched from my learning so far.
