So what is this blog about?
This blog is going to be a center of my own network of friends and any reader who is interested to join. It is about sharing information and art between people with different interests and backgrounds, most of whom I know. As it will develop, I hope it will also attract more readers who may find it useful and entertaining.
This blog is about cultural events, art (music, films, visual/plastic art, design, etc.), social issues, cultural studies, cool + new Internet things and travel.
It's also about getting to know other people from different cultures, developing connections and networks for future collaboration, and sharing amateur as well as professional information or advice.
Essentially, it's here to promote you guys and me by sharing our knowledge and artwork with each other and with potential blog-readers
Who might read it?
First, I will invite as many of my friends and people whom I think may be interested in this blog as I can. Later, when it is developed, I will promote it in my job-search campaign and other extensive networking ventures I often undertake. This means some professionals might read it too.
Readers will be from different countries in the world, mostly the US, Europe, and Latin America as well as from Israel of course.
Readers will probably be mostly in their late-20s, like myself, but it will vary.
People who are into arts like: museum-work, film-making, creative writing, painting, music-making, sound design and more.
People who are into journalism, Internet development, programming, law, international studies, and more.
People interested in travel, history, tourism, art/music scenes, exhibitions, cultural events, education etc.
What do I intend to have here?
I'd like to have articles about the various cultural fields I just listed.
Reviews of CDs, books, films, art exhibitions, journals and magazines etc.
It will be nice to have interviews with interesting people who can share their advice or tell a good story.
I'd like to have critical essays about popular cultures, art, politics and interesting trends we encounter in our immediate surrounding.
I'd like to have articles about cultural differences and cultural exchange.
Who can co-write it with me?
Ideally, I intend to have co-writers who can publish their work, criticism, opinions, advice and reviews here on this site. If anyone is interested, just let me know and we'll talk about it. You can also do it as a one-time-thing, you don't have to commit to it. Your work might get good exposure thanks to this site.
I will invite some of you whom I think may be good for this over emails.
Please write comments so I can improve and get a feel of where this stands.
I am willing to change things in the design, name or goals of this blog if it may serve us better, so just inform me.
Thanks!
